Post Treatment Care

Microneedling Aftercare

First 24 hours

Avoid washing your face the day of treatment. To hydrate the skin, use TOMA’s Boosting Serum as often as needed. Apply with damp hands and press onto the treated areas.

Two Weeks after the first 24 hours

The TOMA Starter Essential System has all you need to tend your skin during the healing process. Wash with the Rejuvenating Cleanser twice daily and follow with Replenishing Mist. Next, gently press the Bioactive Regenerating Oil on the treated areas, and over the boosting Collagen Serum if using.

After two weeks

Use the Exfoliating Cleanser in lieu of Rejuvenating Cleanser one time per week, per Stater Essential System directions.

Return in one month for your next treatment

Post-treatment Reminders

NO touching your face to reduce risk of bacteria entering the microchannels. We recommended using a clean pillow case, too.

NO targeted skincare treatments for 3 days post treatment. This includes AHAs such as glycolic acid, retinol, vitamin C, and enzymes.

NO sun exposure if possible and if you must use, sunscreen, use a natural, zinc based product. And wear a hat!

NO makeup for at least 24 hours, but ideally 48 hours to avoid clogging pores.

NO sweating for 48 hours. This means no exercise, saunas, steam rooms or hot tubs.

NO swimming for at least 3 days. Chemicals can irritate the skin and salt can dry it.

NO anti-inflammatory medications (ibuprofen and naproxen) and ice compresses to allow the body’s own inflammatory response to do what it needs to do.
